This is without a doubt the sock pattern I’ve liked the most so far, mostly because of the simple heel. You don’t have to pick up stitches at all. In 1-2-3 you have done a heel! No struggles at all. So if you think heels are a bit difficult to knit, then you have to try these socks!
They are knitted on needles EU 6 (US 10) in pure wool that can be felted. I knitted mine in Fritidsgarn by Sandnes Garn. I was lucky and found the yarn at the factory sale at for only NOK 16 per skein. ($1,50 ish) So the pair of socks came to no less than NOK 32 ($3 ish) in total.

The socks are incredibly warm as they are felted. The perfect pair to bring on an outdoor adventure, like spending a night in a hammock in the woods.
